Wait a minute, you say, I'm a plant killer! I do well outside but when I try and grow houseplants, they just die on me. That's where we come in!
We'll talk about the needs of plants indoors and how they're different from plants outdoors. Many of the plants that do well in indoor environments hail from regions far from our northern climates. We'll spend some brief time getting familiar with those regions. Knowing a little about where plants are naturally found will help us when we think about how to care for them.
Not only will you learn how to succeed with plants indoors but we'll also talk about the many benefits you can experience by keeping plants in your home. Plants remove many unhealthy toxins from indoor air. You'll be surprised how much healthier and happier you'll feel with some green friends to keep you company during the winter months.
Tasks we'll cover;
Identifying various tropical plants and their needs.
Fertilizing
Trimming/Pruning
Repotting
Navigating containers indoors
We’ll have a selection of plants to choose from for you to make your own “Clean Air Garden” to take home. That coupled with the information on how to succeed with houseplants will turn even the blackest thumbs green.
