Aquatics isn’t JUST for those interested in fish and aquatic plants! Are you into tropical foliage, otherwise known as houseplants!? Then you NEED a small aquarium in your home or living space. Why you might ask? Well because there is no better source for quality water to feed your foliage babies than the water that comes from the routine water change of a fish tank.
Filled with nitrogen (from fish waste) as well as other micronutrients, the aquatic environment has a lot to offer in the way of nutrition for plant roots. That coupled with the fact that established aquatic environments tend to filter out the calciums of our water, there are many reasons to DIVE “head first” into the world of aquatics! Enjoy caring for fish while cultivating good-quality water for your houseplants!
Lastly, the aquatic environment makes a great source for plant propagation! Hope to see you at this fun event!

A “KID FOCUSSED” EVENT.
Often we get asked, “What is the age requirement of your classes?” People are looking for opportunities to do projects with their kids. We don’t mind youth coming to our adult events! There is a presentation with most of our adult classes that sometimes can get long for youth. We’re trying something new in 2024. Some of our adult opportunities are showcased as “KID FOCUSSED”. In these, we’ll endeavor to be a little more entertaining and engaging with the group to help make it a fun experience for those of a younger age group.
