In this session we'll plant our own pot of flowers and even go home with a pack of our own. We’ll learn some of the different names for some of the flowers as well as some of the requirements each of them need to grow. We'll also discuss the four basic needs of all plants, can you name them?

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Give the gift of FUN to your younger child. Little Sprouts is a program recommended for lower elementary students grades 1st through 4th. (Approximate ages 6 through 10 yrs of age).

Each month (currently the 3rd Saturday) the Little Sprouts will meet for a featured event and project. The monthly sessions will run between an hour and 90 minutes.

Each session we meet we’ll do the following.

  1. Talk about a plant related topic

  2. Make a project or work with plants that relates to that topic. You will be able to take this project home.

  3. Offer parent’s ideas/ways to “go further” with this gardening project or method at home.
